Looks like the incarnation of "intel gdm" bug to me, where pressing Alt would unfreeze everything. But that time it's for NV and pressing Alt doesn't help at all. Ok, what else can I supply to track the problem? According to wireshark: nothing is sent to IMAP server at this time. The proprietary Xerox driver indeed prints in Color with no problem. But I do not see Color profile for Foomatic driver in 10.10, only Normal which is BW. Same problem here. Although some DVD media can be mounted normally. The only difference I can think of is the file size: media with files bigger than 4Gb doesn't mount.
