[Bug 923749] Re: New push mouse offscreen feature really difficult to get

2012-02-06 Thread Pako
So what will RAOF do, make different drivers for every single computer
on the planet? You waste your time with childish experiments. The only
fix for this is to scale or shrink the window when launcher appears. I
have to repeat this over and over again. This is the only reasonable fix
for now from this guy. - https://bugs.launchpad.net/ayatana-

You waste your time with lot of experiments. This should be solved with
a simple solution and that isSCALE or SHRINK the window when
launcher appear. Milliseconds should be at 0.1. Linux is about
speed!

somehow shrink the window like Firefox does when new tab is opened.

[Bug 687567] Re: Global menu causes white flashes when scrubbing/moving with mouse fast over menus

2011-12-10 Thread Pako
Others desktop should be reference for responsiveness in Ubuntu. Nobody
has the answer why Compiz works extremely fast and responsive only on
Mandriva GNOME and no other distribution, there is something in Mandriva
that outputs such smooth and responsive desktop effects and frame rates.
Put them side by side and you'll see what I'm talking about. You have to
examine xorg.conf, nux and theme engines, not Compiz.

[Bug 532633] Re: [Master] Window Control buttons: position/order/alignment

2011-11-29 Thread Pako
I have no pain in my wrist anymore from constantly left-right moving the
cursor and 30miles left-right mouse path a year, now is shorten to 2
miles. With a launcher on the left and apps and folders search on the
fly, I do my job in 2 seconds. This is proven fact.

[Bug 532633] Re: [Master] Window Control buttons: position/order/alignment

2011-11-28 Thread Pako
To all right buttons advocates

Lets say tomorrow Ubuntu officials decide to turn back the buttons to the right
and after tomorrow you realize that Fedora fits better to you, or just
reinstall all of your computers with Windows because your girlfriend said so
and you'll do that with such an easy because you've never pay for Linux, leave
Ubuntu and never back again. So, do you think it's fair especially for
developers to meet your daily needs and wishes because of this?
You know what? I appreciate Clement Lefebvre has done with Linux Mint or Mark
with Ubuntu, he does not PULE for better customization, he build his own OS.

Right is better? Is better my a**!! Prove it scientifically and I'll
unsubscribe the same minute.

launcher delays? So it's better option to somehow scale the window to

snappy.
Philosophical - Ubuntu should drop the stupid services like Brainstorming I
like the fact that GNOME developers don't give a sh*t about users for their
wishes and ideas, that's why GNOME 3 is so good. In this way of free thinking
and ideas, you get crap, because carpenter knows programing and have wishes,
waiter knows design and have wishes, doctor likes design, car racer knows
design That's why you need 3 excellent graphic designers and three software
engineers only, users and community for testing and patches only, no ideas no
visions. I like the way Mark doing this with such a passion but has to resolve
this things.

[Bug 760131] Re: Power consumption raised significantly in natty

2011-10-28 Thread Pako
Current way of rendering the GUI is dependent on CPU power, so battery
on stronger processors runs longer, why, because the stronger CPU needs
less time to render the GUI, it's just like in vehicles, as vehicle has
more horsepower it consumes less fuel, because it takes less time to
achieve the speed, and because GPU is 10 times stronger than CPU,
battery on Windows lasts more. In Linux we hardly have Open GL 1.5.
support. So, I think even in this stage Wayland should be the default
server on Ubuntu because of this.

[Bug 760131] Re: Power consumption raised significantly in natty

2011-10-10 Thread Pako
@ Erwin Junge

How you get your result? ~6 hours in Ubuntu, ~10 in Lubuntu? or ~6 to ~10 in
Lubuntu with a different kernel?
However, Erwins test shows that there are huge difference in battery time from
different desktop environments, thus, you can't get results based on kernel
test only, because it's just a fraction from hundrets of other consumers,
including: cairo, compiz, metacity, pixbuf, xorg, mesa, wifi, open-closed video
drivers, Mutter, Unity, indicator applets... etc.

[Bug 760131] Re: Power consumption raised significantly in natty

2011-10-09 Thread Pako
Can someone test the same kernel on Xubuntu or Lubuntu, because It's а
little bit suspicious on how Ubuntu draw and render the GUI, just to be
sure that everything is ok there, plus, there are almost 20 power hungry
non-kernel services running in background. Test!
