2022-04-20 Thread Paligi
This bug seems to be fixed on my machine now. Might be a consequence of
another bugfix.

[Bug 1967745] [NEW] "Show applications" button unresponsive after two clicks

2022-04-04 Thread Paligi
*** This bug is a duplicate of bug 1965069 ***
https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1965069

Public bug reported:

Currently testing 22.04 beta:

How to reproduce:
1. Click on "Show Applications" button -> will display the list of applications
2. While keeping the mouse on the "Show Applications" button, click again ->
will exit the list of applications
3. Press again -> the button is unresponsive

The button becomes responsive again as soon as we leave its area with
the mouse.

This definitely is a regression from 20.04, but I do not know about
21.10.

[Bug 1967121] Re: Glitch on multiple windows selector when auto-hide is enabled

2022-04-03 Thread Paligi
Indeed. I hadn't tested auto-hide + right click popup yet. But it is
glitching as well.

I have updated the title of the issue.

** Summary changed:

- Glitch on multiple windows selector when auto-hide is enabled
+ Contextual menus are glitching when auto-hide is enabled (right click +
windows selector)

[Bug 1967121] Re: Glitch on multiple windows selector when auto-hide is enabled

2022-03-30 Thread Paligi
** Summary changed:

- glitch on windows miniatures when auto-hide is enabled
+ Glitch on multiple windows selector when auto-hide is enabled

** Description changed:

Currently testing a fresh install of the beta for 22.04.
All packages are up to date.

When having the dock auto-hide option enabled, a glitch occurs when opening
the windows selector (when multiple instances of the same program are opened).
- Miniatures do open, but the dock will hide itself immediately instead of
waiting for a selection. Selecting a window will then cause a glitch where the
miniatures will align with the hidden dock in a non natural way before
disappearing.
+ The selector does open, but the dock will hide itself immediately instead of
waiting for a selection. Selecting a window will then cause a glitch where the
selector will align with the hidden dock in a non natural way before
disappearing.

- My opinion would be to prevent the dock from auto-hiding when the
- miniatures selector opens.
+ A proposed fix would be to prevent the dock from auto-hiding when the
+ miniatures selector opens and wait for a second input.
