[Bug 574307] Re: Wireless Doesn't Connect! rt2860
Try this Edward, no need to upgrade the whole kernel. Just patch the drivers with the ones from 2.6.33 https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu-release-notes/+bug/496093/comments/66 This should fit for rt2860 and rt2870. -- Wireless Doesn't Connect! rt2860 https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/574307 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 574307] Re: Wireless Doesn't Connect! rt2860
Same here, EEE PC 1000H with rt2860. I've been unable to connect on wpa2 protected network ever since I upgraded to lucid. This bug report seems quite related ; https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu-release-notes/+bug/496093?comments=all Ricardo's patched kernel worked for a while but no more. http://rsalveti.net/pub/ubuntu/kernel/lucid/linux-image-2.6.32-21-generic_2.6.32-21.32rsalveti1_i386.deb I'm now trying on kernel 2.6.33. [Bug 496093] Re: [lucid] rt2860 frequently fails to connect to mixed mode WPA/WPA2 secured wireless networks
EEE PC 1000H with rt2860. kernel 2.6.33 fixed it so far. Ricardo's patch worked for a while then it stopped (maybe because i updated something didn't pay enough attention).
