[Bug 1958900] [NEW] Spelling and Grammer window doesn't scale properly with HiDPI displays

2022-01-24 Thread Patrick Garraud
Public bug reported:

What I expected to happen:
The Spelling and Grammar window to be scaled properly with my display, like the
main window and every other subwindow.

What actually happens:
The window elements in the Spelling and Grammar window are the wrong size,
causing the options to be unreadable. Attached are photos of this occurring.
The size of the elements scales up when moved to the 1X scaled display, but the
sizing of the elements are still wrong. This only affects the Spelling and
Grammar window. With every other subwindow, the behavior works fine.
Notes:
I'm using a dual monitor set up on Wayland with a 4K monitor at 2X scaling
attached to a 2560x1080 monitor at 1X scaling
I have the LanguageTool Plugin Installed

[Bug 1951142] [NEW] Windows change position after screen flashes in Wayland

2021-11-16 Thread Patrick Garraud
Public bug reported:

When using the Wayland session, the screen will sometimes randomly flash
(usually after opening an application). After the screen flashes, the
open windows will often end up in different positions or in different
monitors. Video of the issue is attached.

Expected Behavior: For the LibreOffice window to stay on the right
monitor and to not change size or position.

Actual Behavior: The LibreOffice window opens to the right after I open
Lollypop.

This issue doesn't exclusively happen while LibreOffice or when opening
Lollypop, however, opening Lollypop is one of the most predictable ways
to trigger the bug. The majority of the time, the bug occurs in the
middle of regular use without me triggering anything.

I'm using a dual monitor set-up, with a 2560X1080 monitor at 1x scaling hooked
up to a 4K Hi-DPI laptop screen at 2x scaling.

[Bug 1908617] [NEW] Scaling doesn't adjust when moved across Monitors with Different DPis

2020-12-17 Thread Patrick Garraud
Public bug reported:

When the window is moved across two monitors with different DPIs, the
window inherits the scaling of the monitor it's opened in and doesn't
readjust when it moves across the other monitor.

[Bug 1904939] [NEW] Monitor Settings Don't Get Applied in Wayland

2020-11-19 Thread Patrick Garraud
Public bug reported:

When configuring a 1080p monitor and a 4k monitor in extended screen
mode while using Wayland, when trying to change the screen positions or
which screen is the primary screen in the Monitor Settings, the settings
reset to default when Apply is clicked. Choosing to "Revert the
Settings" during the 15-second timer causes it to apply the changed
settings, but this resets whenever a pop-up message appears or when
returning to the Monitor Settings.

[Bug 1735957] [NEW] Unity Top Bar doesn't work when opening a document using LibOScreenplay

2017-12-02 Thread Patrick Garraud
Public bug reported:

When I start up LibreOffice, the top bar and the HUD work normally. When
I open a Document that uses LibOScreenplay, I expect the Global
Applications, Top Bar and HUD to work and contain the normal LibreOffice
menu options. However, when I open the LibOScreenplay template or a
Document that uses the LibOScreenplay template, the menu bar starts
appearing and disappearing in the window for a few seconds, before it
finally ends in the window, and not the top bar. After this happens, the
top bar will only say "LibreOffice" and the Global Menu, notifications
and everything else in the top bar disappear and do not work. The Global
Applications Menu also stops working for all other apps. Logging off and
back on (via Ctrl+Alt+Backspace) makes the top bar work normally again,
but the issue still repeats itself when a LibOScreenplay document is
opened.
