1. set up a new bluetooth device. So fareverything went well. Then I asked to
navigate the files on your device. I tried a SamsungC3510 and Android 2.3 and
the behavior was the same in both.
2. In versions prior to 11.10, when I wanted tobrowse files on the device from
the bluetoothmenu, the manager Nautilus openedautomatically on the device and
allowed the immediate viewing of files and folders.
3. This no longer happens. I have to openNautilus manually. And then when I
select the device from the sidebar, the Nautilus does not show its content and
gives the reported error.
I hope this information is sufficient. I can, if necessary, make screen
captures of all of the steps I take. If it helps, just ask.

[Bug 547143] Re: ATI video crash/freeze in Lucid

2010-03-31 Thread Paulo Novais
Last upgrade (20100331) apparently solve the problem.

And, by the way, Lucid its wonderful. More polished, more mature.
And fast, until now.
Now that its more stable for me, I'm going to use it more.

[Bug 547143] Re: Firefox and desktop effects on crash Kubuntu Lucid lynx

2010-03-30 Thread Paulo Novais
After all, the problems are not neither from FF 3.6 or Konqueror.
The problems are with ATI video driver.
I have work with some images in Gimp, KolourPait and GwenView and the system
also crash/freeze.º

I'm going to move this problem to the correct topic.

[Bug 547143] Re: Firefox and desktop effects on crash Kubuntu Lucid lynx

2010-03-29 Thread Paulo Novais
Sadly, I decide to try Konqueror for a while and have the same problem.
Its possible, however, that this crash have some relation with video player,
perhaps ShockWave Flash, because 3 of the 4 crash that happened was in Youtube,
playing videos.

Next I'm going to try FF 3.5.8 instead of 3.6. And I'm going to remove
all extras, also.

[Bug 547143] Re: Firefox and desktop effects on crash Kubuntu Lucid lynx

2010-03-28 Thread Paulo Novais
John

No. It not always crash/freeze when starting. I am now using it and have no
problems at the moment.
I try to run in safe mode and it crash/freeze also.
Them I have tried to build a new profile and crash the first time.
Then I getting back to old profile. And at this moment its stable. Other times
the behavior was similar. Work for a while and then crash.
And i can get the reason for the crash. Always crash in different pages or
different time using it.
I steel digging in and try to get some reason for this.

[Bug 547143] Re: Firefox and desktop effects on crash Kubuntu Lucid lynx

2010-03-25 Thread Paulo Novais
I'm very sorry, but further utilization (tests) with Lucid beta 1 and firefox
3.6 shown that this error also occurs with desktop effects turned off.
At this moment only 2 factors are the same. Firefox 3.6 and Lucid Lynx beta1.

** Description changed:

  Binary package hint: firefox

When starting FF 3.6 in lucid lynx beta 1 (lang pt_pt) the system go black
and freeze. Power on/off necessary.
If take out desktop effects it work (i think this is the problem).
