[Bug 1871268] Re: Installation fails due to useless immediate configuration error when "Install Third-Party Drivers" is selected
I am having the same issue and was wondering where I can get these fixed versions? I tried the 20.10 ISO installation image from the main website, but I am still getting the same problem. I reckon there is some other repository I can grab the latest ISO installer to put on a thumb- drive using Rufus? -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1871268 Title: Installation fails due to useless immediate configuration error when "Install Third-Party Drivers" is selected To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu-cdimage/+bug/1871268/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 1906079] [NEW] Both ethernet and wifi not working after upgrade from ubuntu 18 to 20
Public bug reported: I have a problem where I cannot use wifi or ethernet. I was going to try this answer: https://unix.stackexchange.com/questions/416180/ubuntu-no- wifi-adapter-found/423250#423250 But I can't get usb tethering to work, so I made a post here: https://unix.stackexchange.com/questions/621883/cannot-use-usb- tethering-to-solve-problem I recently installed Ubuntu 20.04 and this started happening. Not exactly sure which package is responsible here. I am making this bug report on the same pc except I am using an ubuntu installation thumbdrive. The live usb seems to recognize ethernet right away, but the one installed on my ssd doesn't. [Bug 1905576] [NEW] I cannot drag icons above to a particular region of my desktop
Public bug reported: I have two monitors set up, and one is vertical. Here is a video: https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/653633559206166541/781166447174352936/20201121_133143_1_1.mp4 1. Ubuntu 18.04.5 LTS 2. Not sure what package this is 3. I expected the icon to go where I dragged it 4. The x-axis position was the same, but the y-axis position always gets set to a certain height whenever I drag above that height (I think this has to do with the top of my other display). [Bug 1901624] [NEW] Whenever I log in, my screen says "HDMI NO SIGNAL"
Public bug reported: This has not happened for me before. Usually the screen will show fine after I log in, but now I have to drag my cursor into the darkness of the problematic screen and make it dance until the signal is picked up. Potentially related: I recently tried to make a guest account with no password required. I set a temporary password and then executed something like `sudo passwd -d guest`. As expected, it didn't work (it makes sense because there was no option to do so in the "Users" configuration GUI). Anyway, I then just gave up on it and deleted the account. When I tried to log into my main account, the screen problem started to happen. I tried restarting, but no luck. ** Affects: ubuntu Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: screen -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1901624 Title: Whenever I log in, my screen says "HDMI NO SIGNAL" To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+bug/1901624/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
