[Bug 1297144] Re: Invisible cursor after resume from suspend

2014-04-18 Thread Peter Groth
On my ThinkPad T42 it happens only when I enter suspend state by closing
the lid - using the menu to enter suspend state shows no problems.

The problem seems to be independet of light-locker. I have disabled
light-locker in system settings because the screen stays black after
wakeup (https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1303736 and
https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1259339).

Still the mouse cursor stays invisible after waking up from suspend
state (if entered by closing the lid).

[Bug 1259339] Re: Xfce4 Power Manager does not restore screen power

2014-04-18 Thread Peter Groth
With Light Locker turned off the screen is restored after waking up but
the mouse cursor disappears (see
https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1297144). Switching to a text console
and back to the X console makes the mouse cursor visible again.
