[Bug 1344865] [NEW] fglrx-updates 2:13.125-0ubuntu0.0.1: fglrx-updates kernel module failed to build
Public bug reported: Error occured while doing automatic update via Update Manager. No idea of the the details... I am submitting as guided by the bug report module. I had a failed Hardware Enablement Stack update a few days ago though. My AMD display driver was lost and have to re-install using the Catalyst run package from AMD using the binary installation method. It wasn't a total success also but just able to keep my PC video running. The other Catalyst utiliities are not runnable. [Bug 1344865] Re: fglrx-updates 2:13.125-0ubuntu0.0.1: fglrx-updates kernel module failed to build
After some research, I guess my bug is a duplicate of https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/fglrx-installer/+bug/1254424 The latest Catalyst beta (14.6 Beta, released 07/14/2014) solves my problem. I have a fully functional video now. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1344865 Title: fglrx-updates 2:13.125-0ubuntu0.0.1: fglrx-updates kernel module failed to build To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/fglrx-installer-updates/+bug/1344865/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 887065] Re: Conpiz Config Settings manager on 11.10
I have the same issue after trying to disable grid via compiz settings manager. It isn't system-wide corruption as login using another user a/c is ok. Login using the problematic user a/c is also ok with Ubuntu 2D. Appears that it can be solved by removing the following 2 lines from the file ~/.config/compiz-1/compizconfig/config: [general_ubuntu] profile = I would presume that the 2 lines were added by the compiz settings manager while checking the Preference option. Actually, hung desktop also happens if tweaking via gconf-editor for the compiz settings. However, removing unwanted directories from ~/.gconf/apps/compiz-1/plugins solves my problems. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/887065 Title: Conpiz Config Settings manager on 11.10 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/unity/+bug/887065/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 875920] [NEW] Bluetooth headset can do input but not output
Public bug reported: In gnome-control-center - Sound, my bluetooth headset can be identified under the Hardware tab. When the headset is selected for Test Speakers (profile Telephony Duplex HSP/HFP), no sound is detected. When headset is selected under Output tab, no application can play any sound on it. By using paplay, error msg returned as Failed to drain stream. When the headset is selected under tab Input, it can record sound just fine (with Input Level responding). It can also record clear sound with the Sound Recorder application. The headset can function on my Android phone so the headset hardware is intact, although it's an aged one, which is Nokia HS-11W on bluetooth 1.1 supporting HSP 1.1 HFP 1.0. The bluetooth adaptor is slightly better, which is Belkin F8T012 on bluetooth 2.0.
