[Bug 1875642] Re: FSVS - not able to commit changes to remote HTTP SVN repo

2021-11-23 Thread Ph. Marek
I think I found the problem -- a double-open.

https://github.com/phmarek/fsvs/commit/f39cc00b3200bcd7874faf4de15479dfa3e6762a

No idea how the code got duplicated here, though - and the old (svn)
history is lost...

[Bug 994467] Re: fsvs update command not working

2021-11-23 Thread Ph. Marek
Sorry, I didn't know about FSVS bugs being sent to Launchpad.

I'm closing this here now; if you still need help, please open a github
issue. Thank you!

[Bug 1875642] Re: FSVS - not able to commit changes to remote HTTP SVN repo

2021-11-23 Thread Ph. Marek
Sorry, I only just now stumbled upon the launchpad bugs.

If that still persists, would you please send a debug log? Just run the
same "fsvs" command with "-d", and redirect into a file. Thank you!

[Bug 1064389] [NEW] unbound-variable for a (declare (special))

2012-10-09 Thread Ph. Marek
Public bug reported:

Debian on AMD64, with SBCL 1.0.58 (debian), 1.1.0, current GIT.

The last commit of

https://github.com/phmarek/cl-ppcre/commits/unbound-variable
Remove the extra LET and create the closure directly.

moves a (LAMBDA) out of a (LET) block; this change gets me a unbound-
variable error for end-string, which I cannot explain. (Perhaps it's
just my bug, of course.)

Example:

CL-USER
(cl-ppcre:scan .b aa)
There is no applicable method for the generic function
  #STANDARD-GENERIC-FUNCTION CL-PPCRE::LEN (5)
when called with arguments
  (#unbound marker {51}).
   [Condition of type SIMPLE-ERROR]

Any help welcome.

Thank you!

[Bug 787876] Re: [138a:0008] Fingerprint reader not recognished

2011-06-27 Thread Ph. Marek
The vfs101 driver that's included in libfprint0 doesn't seem to work,
even if the USB id is changed to 138a:0008 (from :0001).

fprint_demo says Device ready for use, but Image capture is Not
implemented yet.
Trying to Enroll hangs at Step 1 of 3 - the driver doesn't seem to work, no
finger is detected.

This is with (debian) libfprint0=20110418git-2 and fprint-
demo=20080303git-5.

[Bug 294972] Re: MASTER: xorg high cpu usage, general system sluggishness

2009-08-28 Thread Ph. Marek
I have the problem on a notebook; Xorg runs with 100% CPU, in a
setitimer();setitimer();select() loop.

I think it mostly happens after suspend-to-ram from a console.

Going into the X session and waiting some seconds usually helps;
although then hal seems to get into a process-creation loop, and has to
be restarted, too.
