[Bug 117514] Re: seahorse does not synchronize keys with keyserver

2008-11-02 Thread Phil-Taylor.com
I can confirm that I have EXACTLY the same as the last commentor - its
not working on a fresh install of Ubuntu 8.10

Official 8.10 Intrepid
seahorse 2.24.1

Backed-up my secring.gpg pubring.gpg from my old 8.04 system and
imported it using Key-Import.

Made some changes to my key, but really didn't change anything.

Sync to ldap://keyserver.pgp.com gives this:
   bigbCouldn't publish keys to server/b/big
   entry has no objectClass attribute

Sync to hkp://pgp.mit.edu:11371 gives this:
   bigbCouldn't publish keys to server/b/big
   Error decoding keyblock

2008-04-25 Thread Phil-Taylor.com
Public bug reported:

This is a FIREBUG issue, as the actual web page loads fine and you can use
Google Reader (and other ajax apps), its just that firebug reports the response
incorrectly!

I have also tried firebug from SVN branch
http://fbug.googlecode.com/svn/branches/firebug1.2 rev 585 - same
problem

[Bug 222237] [NEW] firefox toolbar icons disappeared

2008-04-25 Thread Phil-Taylor.com
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: firefox-3.0

-BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE-

Before you say anything - I have not messed with them, they are not
turned off, and I have not customised the toolbars at all :-)

Description:Ubuntu 8.04
Release:8.04

firefox:
  Installed: 3.0~b5+nobinonly-0ubuntu3
  Candidate: 3.0~b5+nobinonly-0ubuntu3
  Version table:
 *** 3.0~b5+nobinonly-0ubuntu3 0
500 http://mirror.ox.ac.uk hardy/main Packages
100 /var/lib/dpkg/status

Clean install of 8.04 - Clean install of firefox, new firefox profile,

IMPORT of old bookmarks.json

On first load: The icons for back, forward, refresh, home, stop are all
visible, the folder icons for folders in the bookmarks toolbar are all
visible.

Close firefox, then reopen, the icons are all gone. The icons for back,
forward, refresh, home, stop are NOT visible, the folder icons for
folders in the bookmarks toolbar are all visible.

I seem to be able to replicate this time and time again. sometimes the
icons load - especially (100%) after installing a new extension and
restarting firefox, but most of the time the icons are missing...

Thanks for taking a look

Phil.

You are my hero today!

This works for me.

I had to install ant first (apt-get install ant) and then build (cd
firebug1.2 ant) and then I installed the xpi file from the dist folder

Cool!

Kindest regards
Phil.

[Bug 205716] [NEW] typo in foo2hp2600-wrapper causes printing failure

2008-03-23 Thread Phil-Taylor.com
Public bug reported:

Today after installing Hardy Beta I could not print,

I am using the same HP Color LasterJet 2600n (kind of supported by
foo2hp) - worked in all earlier ubuntu versions

I managed to locate the problem (by reading loads of debug info and log
files),

Problem: An extra semi-colon is in the file:

/usr/bin/foo2hp2600-wrapper

on line 490

This is a typo - and once I removed the semi-colon I could then print
again.

The version near the top of the file was:
VERSION='$Id: foo2hp2600-wrapper.in,v 1.57 2007/10/26 11:13:21 rick Exp $'

Description:Ubuntu hardy (development branch)
