[Bug 1965958] Re: list-oem-metapackages crashed with AttributeError in packages_for_modalias(): 'Cache' object has no attribute 'packages'
After updating packages in a 22.04 ubuntu-mate VM on 24/3/22 I hit this bug. Additionally of note the Brisk Menu icon in the session changed to the Gnome "foot" (although the menu seemed unaffected). This logo reverted to the Ubuntu Mate one after logging out and back in again. Not important, but I wanted to flag this somewhere in case an upstream fix in Solus brisk menu or in Ubuntu Mate might be desirable ** Also affects: brisk-menu (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1965958 Title: list-oem-metapackages crashed with AttributeError in packages_for_modalias(): 'Cache' object has no attribute 'packages' To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu-mate/+bug/1965958/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

On Ubuntu-Mate 22.04 after this bug occurred the Brisk Menu logo had changed to a Gnome foot (which returned to "normal" after restarting the session) -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1965958 Title: list-oem-metapackages crashed with AttributeError in packages_for_modalias(): 'Cache' object has no attribute 'packages' To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu-mate/+bug/1965958/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 1730738] [NEW] xymon web interface has looping redirect on criticaleditor.sh
Public bug reported: Description:Ubuntu 16.04.3 LTS Release:16.04 xymon: Installed: 4.3.25-1 Candidate: 4.3.25-1 Version table: *** 4.3.25-1 500 500 http://gb.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu xenial/universe amd64 Packages 100 /var/lib/dpkg/status If you select the Web UI menu item Administration/Edit Critical Systems https:///xymon-seccgi/criticaleditor.sh you get a 500 error from apache and the Apache error log shows [...] Disallowed request due to unexpected referer '/xymon/', wanted '/xymon-seccgi/criticaleditor' (originally '/xymon-seccgi/criticaleditor') [...] [client x.w.y.z:50417] AH00124: Request exceeded the limit of 10 internal redirects due to probable configuration error. This and some other bugs that are fixed upstream make significant parts of xymon unusable on the LTS version but according to the Changes file are fixed in the latest version (which is in zesty and artful). It would obviously be preferable to users to get the xymon web interface working on the current LTS rather than wait for bionic or move to non-LTS for this kind of service. Might be a good candidate for a snappy solution though... ** Affects: xymon (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1730738 Title: xymon web interface has looping redirect on criticaleditor.sh To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xymon/+bug/1730738/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
