[Bug 522299] Re: Nepomuk-based search returns no results
Now that kdebase-runtime depends on shared-desktop-ontologies in lucid, everything seems to be working (though rebuilding the nepomuk database may be necessary for people running lucid before s-d-o was installed). [Bug 523266] [NEW] Incorrect translation in en_CA
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: amarok There are broken translations of en_CA in amarok. The status bar and tooltip both show _: track by artist on album instead of the actual track name, artist name, and album name. The error probably stems from the following translations: https://translations.launchpad.net/ubuntu/lucid/+source/amarok/+pots/amarok/en_CA/1527/+translate https://translations.launchpad.net/ubuntu/lucid/+source/amarok/+pots/amarok/en_CA/1528/+translate https://translations.launchpad.net/ubuntu/lucid/+source/amarok/+pots/amarok/en_CA/1529/+translate The correct translation is already suggested on each of those pages. ** Affects: amarok (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Incorrect translation in en_CA https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/523266 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Kubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to amarok in ubuntu. -- kubuntu-bugs mailing list kubuntu-b...@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/kubuntu-bugs
[Bug 522299] [NEW] Nepomuk-based search returns no results
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: dolphin Running Kubuntu Lucid, the search toolbar in dolphin always gives no results to any search term. KRunner, on the other hand, works fine. Alvaro Manuel Recio Perez reported in KDE bug 222687 (https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=222687#c21) that installing the shared-desktop-ontologies package made dolphin's search work. I installed it, let nepomuk recreate its database from scratch, and sure enough dolphin search worked properly next login. I think shared-desktop-ontologies should be installed by default. It's already in main, already a build dependency of KDE, isn't a large package, and it would let dolphin search work out of the box. ** Affects: dolphin (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Nepomuk-based search returns no results https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/522299 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 446425] [NEW] artifacts with kwin-compositing
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: xorg Starting today, Oct 8, with Kwin compositing active, I get 1-pixel wide artifacts all over the screen. When a window disappears, the very right-most and bottom-most lines of it remain. Sometimes when scrolling in Konqueror, a line from somewhere else in the web page will stick at the bottom of the web view (above the status bar). The bouncy cursor icon when launching a new application leaves bits of itself behind. All of these artifacts disappear when that part of the screen is repainted (e.g. moving a window over the area, activating the present windows effect). Didn't happen before rebooting this morning, so I'm suspecting mesa 7.6.0.
