Re: [Bug 201722] Re: Missing You Tube plugin
Yup. The Flickr plugin works with Hardys repo. The You Tube plugin works with SVN Everything is broken with Hardys Fluendo packages :) the Fluendo hardy packages are not up-to-date because the 0.3.5 release will be in Hardy soon enough, no need for duplicate work. I don understand why Debian ( upstream probably causes this) must change packages. And I don't understand your sentence. What do you mean by change packages elisa-extra is used from Fluendo and thats upstream. Tons with other errors. No GUI for settings and this will for sure make it impossible for newbies. The first run manual must be included without any GUI for settings. Typical unstable application:) This bug is about non-working Youtube. Did you get it working or not? If you have other issues to discuss with the Elisa team please do so via the bugtracker you'll find at: https://code.fluendo.com/elisa/trac or the mailing list. The team is already aware of the issues you mention above (see the list of tickets on our trac) about the UI for settings. Now if you find Elisa unstable, don't use it or report proper bugs and contribute to the project, this is what open-source is about, among others things. I personally use that software at home in production, there are issues, yes, but we always work and do our best to improve it. [Bug 150929] Re: Elisa needs update to 0.3.2
Most members of the core Elisa team work on Ubuntu feisty and gutsy, we have 2 main testing procedures. - https://code.fluendo.com/elisa/trac/wiki/Testing which is for manual testing - http://build.fluendo.net:8210/ which lists the build status of Elisa on various distros and platforms. We don't have a gutsy slave yet but the unittests pass fine, we checked that. More generally Elisa 0.3.2 is far more reliable than Elisa 0.3.1. Fixing more than 120 bugs in a release cycle is not that bad IMHO :) The end-user will totally benefit from that upgrade, we already had good feedback from the user community since 0.3.2 release. -- Elisa needs update to 0.3.2 https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/150929 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 150893] Re: Pigment needs update to 0.3.2 (from 0.3.1)
During the 0.3.2 release cycle the Pigment developers mainly focused on: - memory management issues - performance issues - and mouse/touchscreen support - more unittests These points all together allowed us to run Elisa on a UMPC (Samsung Q1) running Gutsy and generally improve Elisa as it heavily depends on Pigment for all the UI operations. You can see the build status of Pigment there: http://build.fluendo.net:8220/ Pigment-based applications will now be far more reliable, we tracked quite a few segfaults on machines using various hardware (graphics cards) and video drivers. -- Pigment needs update to 0.3.2 (from 0.3.1) https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/150893 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
