[Bug 434475] Re: Samsung YP-K3 Media player device error

2010-01-19 Thread PhilippeB.
Hi,

Seems I have this same bug with karmic/Rhythmbox and my Samsung YP-K3 Media
player :
Rhythmbox opens the library on my player only if I plug it in while the
software is already running; If Rhythmbox is not running, it starts when I plug
the player in, but no MTP library is shown.
Furthermore, if I try to add music to the device, after uploading a few songs,
there's a message saying:
PTP Layer error 02fc: get_first_storage_freespace(): could not get storage
info.

I enclose a screenshot.

What information do you need to continue to investigate?

Regards,

[Bug 470425] [NEW] Moving the lid of the laptop make Ubuntu going slow

2009-11-02 Thread PhilippeB.
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: ubuntu-artwork

Hi,

I have final version of Karmic Koala installed since friday on a laptop Compaq
6720s and when I move the
lid without closing it (it's more than 45 degree open and I have just to move
it of 1cm to reproduce the problem),
Ubuntu becomes unresponsive during 3-4 seconds (the mouse goes slow and the
windows content disappear during
2 seconds)

I note I have this behavior only when moving downwards the lid. When
monitoring the device activity, I can see this moving a little bit the
lid :
