[Bug 1716203] Re: Backport packages for 16.04.4 HWE stack

2017-12-29 Thread Pranav Sharma
Sorry about this silly question, but will this update be shipped in
February? If it isn't tied to the HWE release schedule and can be
released earlier, is there any way I can help test?

[Bug 1716203] Re: Backport packages for 16.04.4 HWE stack

2017-12-26 Thread Pranav Sharma
This update fixes a bug that was in the last xorg update:
https://www.kubuntuforums.net/showthread.php/72149-Mouse-artifact-
introduced-in-7-26-update - I think the promotion of this to stable will
be very helpful for kde neon. Tested on my laptop, the bug is gone.

2017-06-06 Thread Pranav Sharma
Sorry for not seeing this sooner. I have a xenial machine with the
latest stable HWE kernel. Whenever there is a kernel upgrade, DKMS
builds for the old kernel version. After each update I have to manually
run "sudo dpkg-reconfigure bbswitch-dkms" Maybe I will take a look at
how you fixed it in this package to fix in bbswitch-dkms.

I don't think this is a problem with systemd. I switched to using KDE

Maybe it has to do with the desktop environments, not systemd itself.
