Headphones are working fine though. 05:00.6 Audio device: Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. [Bug 1913350] Re: Intel Wireless-AC 7260 (rev bb) wifi card crashes randomly
apport information ** Tags added: apport-collected ** Description changed: Intel Wireless-AC 7260 (rev bb) wifi card crashes randomly. Sometimes after 1h of using my laptop, and sometimes after resuming from sleep. It can't work again until I reboot my laptop. The most relevant error message is: sty 25 14:42:13 leetbook kernel: iwlwifi :25:00.0: Failed to wake NIC for hcmd sty 25 14:42:13 leetbook kernel: iwlwifi :25:00.0: Error sending STATISTICS_CMD: enqueue_hcmd failed: -5 I'm using Ubuntu 20.04 that was upgraded from 18.04 and earlier 16.04. I've searched for similar bugs, but it looks like my error message and card model is a bit different. The workaround script from bug 1673344 works to fix the wifi without rebooting. The card works fine in Windows 10 so it's not a hardware issue. This is not a stock card from HP EliteBook 8470w, I've replaced it to gain Wifi 802.11ac transfer speeds. Thanks for reply. Sorry, I've mistaken ubuntu releases, I meant jaunty and karmic. For karmic I have: cat /etc/issue Ubuntu 9.10 ii mysql-client-5.1 5.1.37-1ubuntu5.4 mysql --version mysql Ver 14.14 Distrib 5.1.37, for debian-linux-gnu (x86_64) using EditLine wrapper Indeed it seems that lucid version uses readline again (yay !) [Bug 633129] [NEW] mysql-client-5.1 no longer uses readline :(
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: mysql-client-5.1 Affects all Ubuntu versions having MySQL 5.1 available, so Karmic, Lucid, etc. MySQL client 5.1 (AFAIK ONLY on ubuntu) is using EditLine (libedit) instead of readline library. This results in lack of some REALLY making life easier features like searching history (ctrl+r) and browsing it with only uniq commands. Like you can run show slave status\G 100 times in a row, but hitting up arrow 2 times gives you a command before the first one! MySQL DBAs have been using those features for ages, why sombody decided to make their lives such a pain in the ass ? I can only add that other distros - not only rpm-like ones still use readline - debian does : mysql --version mysql Ver 14.14 Distrib 5.1.49, for debian-linux-gnu (x86_64) using readline 6.1 We're now migrating to 5.1 in my company and I'd really like to stay with ubuntu not being forced to make my own MySQL packages ! [Bug 27014] Re: evolution bug, Summary and folder mismatch, even after a sync
Deleting the *.ev-summary files didn't resolve the problem for me---in fact before it would just throw up the error message every time it tried to fetch new mail, and after deleting the files it would crash immediately after opening the main window (possibly when it went out to the server to get new mail). I then tried to run it under strace: strace -f evolution and it started w/o crashing. Perhaps strace with its syscall printouts slows it down enough to avoid the race that trips it up in the first place. So, I have found a hacked workaround, of sorts. -- evolution bug, Summary and folder mismatch, even after a sync https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/27014 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is a direct subscriber. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
