The upgrade from 23.10 to 24.04 failed, leaving the system in an
unstable state.

The problem seems to have been caused by the upgrade to thunderbird snap

[Bug 1977666] [NEW] gnome-shell crash when a monitor is connected

Hi,
I have just installed Ubuntu 22.04, and I have found a bug when I connect an 
external monitor to my laptop. Gnome-shell crash, and it seems to be linked 
with Wayland, the problem doesn't appear with Xorg.
