Re: [Bug 503918] Re: Can't edit device actions

2010-01-07 Thread Rübe1971
Hi Jonathan,
thank you for the hint. I will open a bug report at KDE.

I would like to define an action for autostarting kaffeine whenever a DVB
stick is plugged in.

Is there a documentation for manually defining Solid actions ?

Regards,
Christian

 Hi there!

Thanks for reporting this bug! Your bug seems to be a problem with the
KDE program itself, and not with our KDE packages. While we appreciate
your issue, it would be better if it was tracked at
https://bugs.kde.org, so that the KDE developers can deal with this
speedily and have direct communication with you as the reporter for more
 effective debugging.

 Thanks!

Re: [Bug 373819] Re: NVIDIA driver not automatically installed in 9.04

2009-05-25 Thread Rübe1971
I am using the normal kubuntu distribution.
The only reason I believed the NVIDIA driver is installed automatically was
the documentation in
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/LaptopTestingTeam/MSIMegabookGX700

The nvidia drivers are not a dependency of ubuntu-desktop package or of
joykey, so it is normal that the NVIDIA driver is not installed
 automatically.

Are you using a normal install of Ubuntu or an OEM-install?

Should this bug marked as invalid?
... so what about the documentation in

[Bug 373819] [NEW] NVIDIA driver not automatically installed in 9.04

2009-05-08 Thread Rübe1971
Public bug reported:

Contrary to the documentation (
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/LaptopTestingTeam/MSIMegabookGX700 ), on my MSI GX700
notebook, the NVIDIA card was not automatically detected. It took me a while to
find out that this is why TV using a DVB-T stick had a very instable image.
After installing the NVIDIA drivers, everything was fine.
