Idon't know, I follow the instructions of installation assistant. Wich is your suggestion, uninstall grub-efi-amd64-signed and shim-signed packages? [Bug 1166125] Re: Ubuntu (Xubuntu) 13.04 beta, broken fonts for Gtk based applications
The suggestion in comment #10 works for me. Getting rid of pango- graphite fixes it. Thanks Václav! This has been keeping me busy for a few hours. I've just upgraded from 12.10 to 13.04. The problem also affected fonts in lightdm greeter and gnome, but fontconfig seemed ok and the fonts in tty1-6 were also ok. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1166125 Title: Ubuntu (Xubuntu) 13.04 beta, broken fonts for Gtk based applications To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/gtk/+bug/1166125/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 1174143] Re: Font / letter-spacing problem in terminal
Seems a duplicate of this bug: https://bugs.launchpad.net/pango/+bug/1166125 Try removing package pango-graphite and then restart the desktop manager (or reboot). -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1174143 Title: Font / letter-spacing problem in terminal To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+bug/1174143/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 996245] Re: [Gigabyte MB: GA-Z77X-UD5H-WB, ALC898] No sound from headphone/line-out jacks
I was having this problem with the same mobo. The workaround in #27 worked for me as a temporary solution. Problem seems solved after installing Realtek drivers from here: http://www.realtek.com.tw/downloads/downloadsView.aspx?Langid=1PNid=14PFid=24Level=4Conn=3DownTypeID=3GetDown=false Tested with version 1.0.25-5.17rc5 (there's rc8 now). No more out of range errors in dmesg for hda-codec. I don't know if this is eventually going into ALSA or even if plain ALSA 1.0.25 is enough for ALC898 to work. I can't test that right now as this is a production machine. alsa-info.sh output is here: http://www.alsa-project.org/db/?f=9dd18f23f2c450918d9342396cd24db7f6781050 -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/996245 Title: [Gigabyte MB: GA-Z77X-UD5H-WB, ALC898] No sound from headphone/line- out jacks To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/alsa-driver/+bug/996245/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 55000] Re: CD / DVD volume isn't recognized by Hal
I have the same problem in Ubuntu Dapper. When I put a blank cd in the writer, desktop icon and nautilus burning dialog appear for just a few seconds, and then is like the writer was empty. -- CD / DVD volume isn't recognized by Hal https://launchpad.net/bugs/55000 -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
