[Bug 1346414] Re: update-manager crashed with AttributeError in update(): 'NoneType' object has no attribute 'saveDistUpgrade'
I was having the same problem but I could not run the above command, it got stuck with only a (I assume) non-relevant warning about a deprecated button use. Using aptitude it first gave me a warning about unable to update and propose several keeps, but after accepting the keeps it gave an other message about broken packages which it could fix. After this no keeps and it could do a normal update. After this, update still did not run but then I discovered there where mere update processes running at the same time. Killing them enabled me to run update and the problem is gone. So for me the real problem looked to be the broken packages but unfortunately the broken packages were not logged and I have not noted them down. For the command line option to run it might give more info after killing the running update processes. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1346414 Title: update-manager crashed with AttributeError in update(): 'NoneType' object has no attribute 'saveDistUpgrade' To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/update-manager/+bug/1346414/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 1287725] Re: SVN crashes on svn:// login with: svn assert failure
It was a long time ago but if I remember correct it appeared to be a server problem which causes the dump at the client side. So the message is being given if the repository can not be reached. (Same thing will happen if you try to checkout from a server which does not run subversion). bDefinitely a user-error, but especially considering the likeliness of this error it should rather result in a nice user message instead of this core dump. /b -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1287725 Title: SVN crashes on svn:// login with: svn assert failure To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/subversion/+bug/1287725/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 697095] Re: polkit-gnome-authentication-agent-1 crashed with SIGSEGV in g_datalist_id_set_data_full() during login
Crashes sometimes after login, but I notice also that during login Ubuntu only remembers my main user (made during install) while normally it shows all users. I don't know if it always crashes when showing only the main user or if this is actually a different bug. I'll have a look to see if it is a hard correlation. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/697095 Title: polkit-gnome-authentication-agent-1 crashed with SIGSEGV in g_datalist_id_set_data_full() during login -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

Redid the installation with a (usb) cdrom player and now the install works ok. Apparently my assumption that I could use the image with a usb-stick was false?
