Public bug reported: I have three 4k displays. They are physically arranged as
DP-2 DP-0 DP-1 Before I upgraded to Kubuntu 21.X, things worked fine: I once arranged the displays on the "Display Configuration" window and the setting was correctly restored. But once I updated to Kubuntu 21.X (originally from 19.10 I believe, then I used 20.04 and then upgraded to 21.X), this stopped working. The screen layout is reset on every reboot. The default layout is DP-0 DP-1 DP-2 which doesn't match the physical layout ProblemType: Bug DistroRelease: Ubuntu 21.10 Package: systemsettings 4:5.22.5-0ubuntu1 ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 5.13.0-25.26-generic 5.13.19 Uname: Linux 5.13.0-25-generic x86_64 ApportVersion: 2.20.11-0ubuntu71 Architecture: amd64 CasperMD5CheckResult: unknown CurrentDesktop: KDE Date: Tue Jan 18 01:04:12 2022 ExecutablePath: /usr/bin/systemsettings5 InstallationDate: Installed on 2019-11-11 (798 days ago) InstallationMedia: Kubuntu 19.10 "Eoan Ermine" - Release amd64 (20191017) SourcePackage: systemsettings UpgradeStatus: Upgraded to impish on 2022-01-14 (3 days ago) ** Affects: systemsettings (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: amd64 apport-bug impish -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1958184 Title: Display Configuration reset on every reboot To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/systemsettings/+bug/1958184/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
