Have a look in the file ~/.config/banshee-1/log after Banshee has crashed but before you restart it. If there was some unhandled exception it should be reported there. [Bug 877901] [NEW] Banshee crashes when idle (AvahiDBus zeroconf provider)

[Bug 159031] Re: computer freezes when sshfs blocks waiting for connection
I just wanted to add another work-around if you find yourself with a hung sshfs mount. I had one, did a forced, lazy unmount, but a number of processes were still blocked (terminals, gvim, nautilus). The solution was to kill -9 the sshfs process (which was still running). This immediately un-froze everything. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/159031 Title: computer freezes when sshfs blocks waiting for connection -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 403339] Re: problem with key repeat, extra key up events
I'm not seeing this with the most recent Lucid xorg package (1:7.5+5ubuntu1), x86_64 architecture. Luis, how did you test this? Note that the xev method described in comment #21 of this thread is invalid. You must test using by compiling and running the reproducer code attached to the bug at http://bugs.freedesktop.org/attachment.cgi?id=27195, or by observing unexpected behaviour in an application. If the latter, please list the application, steps to reproduce, and how the behaviour differs from what is expected. -- problem with key repeat, extra key up events https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/403339 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 520049] Re: general.useragent.override in firefox spontaneously switches to quicktime 7
I can confirm that I've just had this happen with Firefox 3.6.3. The user agent has been changed to QuickTime/7.6.4. This is running 10.04 with firefox 3.6.3+nobinonly-0ubuntu4 installed. I noticed this problem after an unexpected exit of Firefox (i.e a crash) on a media-heavy site (http://wellthatsadorable.com/). I suspect that gecko-mediaplayer sets this value in order to convince a QuickTime streaming server that it can handle the media, then resets the value after the media is loaded. In the case of a crash the override value is left in place. The reason for suspecting gecko-mediaplayer is that about:plugins shows: QuickTime Plug-in 7.6.4 File: gecko-mediaplayer-qt.so Version: Gecko Media Player 0.9.9.2 QuickTime Plug-in 7.6.6 File: libtotem-narrowspace-plugin.so Version: The Totem 2.30.2 plugin handles video and audio streams. The 7.6.4 version in the useragent string matches that reported by the gecko-mediaplayer plugin. -- general.useragent.override in firefox spontaneously switches to quicktime 7 https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/520049 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 403339] Re: problem with key repeat, extra key up events
This appears not to be fixed for me in 2:164-2ubuntu3. Holding down any key generates a string of KeyPress and KeyRelease events, rather than just KeyPress.
