Re: [Bug 522121] Re: qla2xxx crashes when connected to FC switch
Jeremy, With some luck I will be able to test a released 10.4 iso early next week. If the problem persists I might have time test with the latest mainline kernel. I will update after the tests Regards Ronnie On Mon, 2010-04-26 at 20:02 +, Jeremy Foshee wrote: Hi Ronnie, This bug was reported a while ago and there hasn't been any activity in it recently. We were wondering if this is still an issue? Can you try with the latest development release of Ubuntu? ISO CD images are available from http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/releases/ . If it remains an issue, could you run the following command from a Terminal (Applications-Accessories-Terminal). It will automatically gather and attach updated debug information to this report. apport-collect -p linux 522121 Also, if you could test the latest upstream kernel available that would be great. It will allow additional upstream developers to examine the issue. Refer to https://wiki.ubuntu.com/KernelMainlineBuilds . Once you've tested the upstream kernel, please remove the 'needs-upstream-testing' tag. This can be done by clicking on the yellow pencil icon next to the tag located at the bottom of the bug description and deleting the 'needs-upstream-testing' text. Please let us know your results. [Bug 522121] Re: qla2xxx crashes when connected to FC switch
Tried with 8.04 and the FC part works as expected with switch. I do not currently have time to try 8.10 or 9.04 (need the lab working next week) but at least we know 8.04 was OK -- qla2xxx crashes when connected to FC switch https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/522121 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
