[Bug 1913868] [NEW] Green Line Out Rear displaced by Digital Output S/PDIF

2021-01-30 Thread Roy Leith
Public bug reported:

At boot, the Line Out Green Rear is replaced by Digital Output (SP/DIF)

Issuing the command,

systemctl --user restart pulseaudio

restores Line Out, which then works correctly.

There have been some instances when the issue returns after running an
audio program such as Reaper (DAW) or Audacity.

I obtained the work-around from Kubuntu Forums where there are several
similar reports from users of Kubuntu 20.10..

Re: [Bug 433021] Re: Base Reports - Offset Columns

2010-05-19 Thread Roy Leith
Dear Chris,
Sorry for the delayed and partial response. My computer told me that it needed
more space in the C: partition to de-fragment the file system. I have just
finished rebuilding the drive partitions after Windows software trashed the
thing. fsarchiver is wonderful!

A brief check seems to show that the problem has gone in 10.04. I tried a
couple of reports with minimal editing and they were OK. I will let you know if
a more extensive databash throws up the original problem.
Thanks for the attention.
RegardsRoy Leith

Do you still have this problem with Ubuntu 10.04 LTS (Lucid)? If so
please attach an example document exhibiting this problem.

Status in “openoffice.org” package in Ubuntu: Incomplete

Bug description:
Binary package hint: openoffice.org

The column data in reports are offset one column to the left. The first
column title is correct but the data is that of the second column. The
rest of the columns are also offset and the final column contains the
ipsum placeholder text.

If the report is limited to one column of data, there are no columns in
the report. Sometimes with a two column report, the correct data appears
in the correct column, but this is not maintained when the report is
reopened.

This problem occurs both when the report is based on a query and when
based on a table.

There are about 430 records in the database including a tickbox field.

2009-10-09 Thread Roy Leith
Hi Chris,
I don't understand what you want me to do. I reported the bug, initially, to
the link you give by using the bug report menu option in Open Office. Are you
asking me to duplicate the report or are you telling me I can change the
details or status of the existing report?
Be gentle with me; this is unknown territory for me.

Can you please file this upstream bug at
http://qa.openoffice.org/issue_handling/pre_submission.html and add the
bug number back to this report?
