[Bug 1913868] [NEW] Green Line Out Rear displaced by Digital Output S/PDIF
Public bug reported: At boot, the Line Out Green Rear is replaced by Digital Output (SP/DIF) Issuing the command, systemctl --user restart pulseaudio restores Line Out, which then works correctly. There have been some instances when the issue returns after running an audio program such as Reaper (DAW) or Audacity. I obtained the work-around from Kubuntu Forums where there are several similar reports from users of Kubuntu 20.10.. Re: [Bug 433021] Re: Base Reports - Offset Columns
Dear Chris, Sorry for the delayed and partial response. My computer told me that it needed more space in the C: partition to de-fragment the file system. I have just finished rebuilding the drive partitions after Windows software trashed the thing. fsarchiver is wonderful! A brief check seems to show that the problem has gone in 10.04. I tried a couple of reports with minimal editing and they were OK. I will let you know if a more extensive databash throws up the original problem. Thanks for the attention. Re: [Bug 433021] Re: Base Reports - Offset Columns
Hi Chris, I don't understand what you want me to do. I reported the bug, initially, to the link you give by using the bug report menu option in Open Office. Are you asking me to duplicate the report or are you telling me I can change the details or status of the existing report? Be gentle with me; this is unknown territory for me.
