[Bug 1766495] Re: "your libfreerdp does not support h264"
I believe AVC/H.264 is better compression than what is used by the other options. I would very much like it if I did not have to select True Color or any of the other options. Is there a workaround or plan to make AVC/H.264 usable in Ubuntu 18.04? I am using the remmina-ppa-team/remmina-next repo on Ubuntu 18.04, and these are the packages I have installed ii remmina1.2.0-rcgit.29+dfsg-1ubuntu1 amd64GTK+ Remote Desktop Client ii remmina-common 1.2.0-rcgit.29+dfsg-1ubuntu1 all Common files for Remmina ii remmina-plugin-rdp:amd64 1.2.0-rcgit.29+dfsg-1ubuntu1 amd64RDP plugin for Remmina ii remmina-plugin-secret:amd641.2.0-rcgit.29+dfsg-1ubuntu1 amd64Secret plugin for Remmina ii remmina-plugin-vnc:amd64 1.2.0-rcgit.29+dfsg-1ubuntu1 amd64VNC plugin for Remmina -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1766495 Title: "your libfreerdp does not support h264" To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/remmina/+bug/1766495/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

I searched for a similar bug report. [Bug 1612900] [NEW] Reset Password from lock screen
Public bug reported: As the administrator of an authentication environment, I would like my users to be able to reset their password from the lock screen if their password expires. Allowing a user to reset their password from a lock screen for a month after password expiry is no less secure than allowing the user's password to expire one month later and emailing them relentlessly. If you allow the option to lock them out and require a password reset at a time period earlier than their expiration, their security privileges are never escalated, only reduced. I think that's an acceptable security policy, and would also be a very useful feature. something something pipe to passwd, maybe? ** Affects: lightdm (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1612900 Title: Reset Password from lock screen To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/lightdm/+bug/1612900/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
