[Bug 1890047] Re: Sessions crash, all X11 remote users disconnected

2020-08-03 Thread Sébastien Koechlin
There is nothing in /var/crash at the date of the crash nor about
lightdm. I don't know if this directory is periodically purged, but as I
remember, no file was produced.

I will not be able to reproduce the problem before end of august as all
users are in summer holidays.

[Bug 1890047] [NEW] Sessions crash, all X11 remote users disconnected

2020-08-02 Thread Sébastien Koechlin
Public bug reported:

Hello,

I have a Ubuntu 16.04.6 LTS (Xenial Xerus) used by many X11 remote user.

When upgrading to glib-networking, glib-networking-common and lib-
networking-services to 2.48.2-1~ubuntu16.04.2; all sessions crash
randomly at the same time many times a day.

When it happens, all users are disconnected and it looks like lightdm is
restarted.

Downgrading to 2.48.2-1~ubuntu16.04.1 resolve the problem.

X11 terminals were not upgraded.

[Bug 1009920] Re: Warning about unknown module afsql

2013-09-29 Thread Sébastien Koechlin
Hello,

Sorry, I did not reply; your workaround work really well.

I did the first one, as I did not want to install extra packages for
warning messages (2) and not go wih a self compiled package, and
security updates to do (3).

Thanks.

[Bug 184296] Re: [Gutsy] X crash at startup when Xinerama is enabled (radeon)

2008-01-19 Thread Sébastien Koechlin
Thanks, xrandr without Xinerama is working.

But gutsy migration result in a not working configuration
(and I do not have any clue on how to setup dual screen at boot, I have to
manually run a command to configure screen)

Yes, this bug is still present on 3.2.5-alpha5, and it's still an issue
for me.

Did you try? Do you have the same bug?

[Bug 36492] Re: french symbols map for macintosh is incomplete

2007-08-17 Thread Sébastien Koechlin
feisty come with an invalid setup in xorg.conf.

I have to edit xorg.conf and change the following line:
Option XkbOptionslv3:rwin_switch
with
Option XkbOptionslv3:alt_switch

then everything is OK.

rwin_switch make layout unusable. Many symbols are not available, no
VT...
