There is nothing in /var/crash at the date of the crash nor about lightdm. I don't know if this directory is periodically purged, but as I remember, no file was produced. Public bug reported: Hello, I have a Ubuntu 16.04.6 LTS (Xenial Xerus) used by many X11 remote user. When upgrading to glib-networking, glib-networking-common and lib- networking-services to 2.48.2-1~ubuntu16.04.2; all sessions crash randomly at the same time many times a day. When it happens, all users are disconnected and it looks like lightdm is restarted. Downgrading to 2.48.2-1~ubuntu16.04.1 resolve the problem.
