[Bug 1382054] Re: Add support for configuring VLAN interfaces in the initrd
I wrote a hook to add a VLAN-Device to the initramfs, you can add in your /etc/initramfs-tools/initramfs.conf the following line: VLAN=: you can also add multiple devices: VLAN=": :" the hooks ans script are in the attachment. I use it to unlock a encrypted root partition over a vlan hinterface. Have fun.. :) ** Attachment added: "vlan.tar" https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/initramfs-tools/+bug/1382054/+attachment/5137284/+files/vlan.tar -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1382054 Title: Add support for configuring VLAN interfaces in the initrd To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/initramfs-tools/+bug/1382054/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 1526960] [NEW] on_ac_power doesn't notice usb powersupply
Public bug reported: Some ARM-Boards have more then one possible power-supply, for example you can power them also over USB. But /usr/bin/on_ac_power returns that there is no connected power-supply if its an usb power-supply. you can solve the Problem if you also allow an USB Device as a power-supply. This causes Problems like unattended-upgrades and other features are not working. You can do this if you patch the /usr/bin/on_ac_power script with the attached patch. ** Affects: powermgmt-base (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Affects: unattended-upgrades (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Patch added: "unattended-upgrades.diff" https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1526960/+attachment/4535906/+files/unattended-upgrades.diff ** Also affects: unattended-upgrades (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1526960 Title: on_ac_power doesn't notice usb powersupply To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/powermgmt-base/+bug/1526960/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
Re: [Bug 1386078] Re: Icon at the wrong place
*** This bug is a duplicate of bug 1209106 *** https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1209106 I think removing the icon is a good solution for Unity. I usualy run qshutdown only if i need it.
