[Bug 1131776] [NEW] mythnettv creates locked table issue with mysql 5.5
Public bug reported: I was having issues with the MythTV backend locking up and having a lot of mysql processes with a status of "waiting for metadata lock". This seems to have been caused by autocommit=false (which I believe is new with MySQL 5.5). The MythTV 0.25 seems to have avoided this problem, but I don't believe mythnettv did. The fix seems to have worked. There is no /etc/init.d/nis and no error. The package has installed without error and is functional. [Bug 510172] Re: no sound for streaming videos
I have the same issue. I have sound with other applications. I have the same audio issue with flash whether it's in firefox, chrome or opera. Sometimes I'll have the video play without audio, other times it will play with audio for the first few seconds and then stop. I am running the current 8.10 and nothing here has solved the problem. I have the same behavior. The speaker works, the headphone jack does not, and once I plug something into the headphone jack, I don't get any sound. I upgraded to HH using the update-manager.
