[Bug 483224] Re: opensync gives error when writing to phone (n95) error synchronizing: unable to write one or more objects

2010-01-08 Thread Sebastian Berthold
Same problem on my machine. Syncing my evolution address book to my
empty E75 with multisync0.90, results in an initial, never ending
transfer to the E75 (some errors occure too). Then all further syncs run
into that error.

If I delete all addresses in evolution, I can successfull sync back all
records from the E75 to evolution, also can sync back with the E75
modified records but never from evolution to E75.

[Bug 116820] evms does not work with feisty xen kernel (dom0)

2007-05-25 Thread Sebastian Berthold
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: evms

With the current ubuntu-xen-server environment we are unable to use evms
in the dom0 (xen image 2.6.19-4-server).

many errors like this with very high udev load:

May 24 09:05:29 ubujames kernel: [ 10.938500] device-mapper: ioctl:
4.10.0-ioctl (2006-09-14) initialised: [EMAIL PROTECTED]

by deactivating the dm code in /etc/udev/rules.d/85-evms.rules this
errors disappear but evms is not usable - the evms save command fails or
does nothing

with standard kernel 2.6.20-server evms works as expected

[Bug 89693] Re: after upgrade edgy-feisty, high udev CPU usage

2007-05-24 Thread Sebastian Berthold
the fix above disables usage of dm (softraid) feature - this is not so
good :-(

so I am not able to use the feisty xen kernel together with Software
Raid0 or Raid5.
