I add some important info. Every time a new kernel upgrade is performed (e.g. via software updates) touchscreen come alive at reboot. Yu, in fact the bug is still present also in Ubuntu amd64 20150326 live ISO as well as Xubuntu amd64 20150326. Now the complete message is: Missing parameter in configuration file. I get a similar behaviour testing Ubuntu i386 using live usb. The issue doesn't appear on ubiquity window but under a notification one during desktop loading. 1) In Ubiquity, select the language and click on Try Ubuntu. 2) During desktop loading there is just the background on the screen. 3) Then a notification window appears and it shows the issue. Confirmed with daily build (20120402) live usb with persistence. After first boot and selecting Italian, i get us keyboard. After rebooting i get the correct it one. I've tried opening a terminal and installing manually the gstreamer0.10 -fluendo-mp3 package and then it works. So the problem is not about the repository. I also made an apt-get update before trying so the system had a local information about the packages. Why do you talk about multiverse? gstreamer0.10-fluendo-mp3 is in universe afaik.
