I've now ended up completely restoring my MBP 5,5 (in efforts to get it
up and running again before I was able to find the re-install firmware
advice)... My question to those involved is this: If I try re-installing
Natty, will simply re-re-installing the firmware file bring everything
to life, leaving my Mac data intact? Alternatively, is there a way to
install Natty without bricking the EFI in the first place?
