[Bug 1336179] Re: [Asus N550JV] Bluetooth working intermittently AR9485

2014-07-04 Thread Simone Fabris
Also, I noticed this entries in dmesg:

[ 25.618865] Bluetooth: Error in firmware loading err = -110,len = 448, size
= 4096
[ 25.618873] Bluetooth: Loading patch file failed
[ 25.618879] ath3k: probe of 3-5:1.0 failed with error -110
[ 25.618919] usbcore: registered new interface driver ath3k

So, this could be related to firmware uploading...

I have no idea, as this is a new machine with a fresh Ubuntu
installation.

I'll try to boot some older release and I'll report back.

[Bug 1336179] [NEW] Bluetooth working intermittently (AR9485 on Asus N550JV)

2014-07-01 Thread Simone Fabris
Public bug reported:

Ubuntu is the only OS in this machine.
Bluetooth is not recognized after boot.

In order to have Bluetooth working, I have to reboot several times (sudo
reboot), usually between 3 to 5 times before having a working bluetooth.

The attached system information were collected with WORKING bluetooth.
