[Bug 734378] Re: High CPU usage on AMD neo-mv40
Penlavch, sorry for getting back to you late. I started using GNOME Shell instead of unity and it helped a bit. But with upgrading to 12.04 the heating was solved to a large degree. Still my laptop is cooler on Windows, but temp not going up 60C that much anymore. I think we can close this bug since Slystone reported a more active bug or I can send any report you think is useful. Just notify me what command I should run. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/734378 Title: High CPU usage on AMD neo-mv40 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/734378/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 730770] Re: Persian characters in FreeSerif not connecting right
Hi Steve, After submitting this bug I realised these fonts maintained by GNU, but I couldn't found how should I report a bug there. :p But I'll put some more time and figure out how to do it. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/730770 Title: Persian characters in FreeSerif not connecting right To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/ttf-freefont/+bug/730770/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 743775] Re: Indicator menus show up behind everything else
Omer, It happens on every session and to all menus. It's just not every time. For example some times it happens to sound indicator but not to messaging, vice versa. And it works if you click on a working indicator and then move the cursor on the one not working. P.S.: I wanted to attach my report too, I just don't know how. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/743775 Title: Indicator menus show up behind everything else -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 734378] [NEW] High CPU usage on AMD neo-mv40
Public bug reported: CPU usage is high (over 60%) on HP DV2 netbook which causes high temperature and low battery life. CPU on this netbook is a AMD Athlon neo-mv40 (1.66 GHz). This happens while CPU usage on windows 7 on the same laptop is fair (tested it while using visual studio). I now it's not because of graphic configuartion since I have the problem with both compiz and metacity, and also graphic card is a ATI Radeon HD 3410 - which seems to be more than what compiz needs. Also memory usage is low. Public bug reported: Binary package hint: ttf-freefont There are certain characters which are exclusive to Persian and not available in Arabic (پ ژ گ چ).
