[Bug 411118] [NEW] Privilege granting is much more annoying in Karmic
Public bug reported: Small thingy, but when having multiple user accounts, since karmic the privilege granting window requires you to first select which 'admin' user you actually want to use for this action. For an action that is so frequent, this is an waste of clicks. In my opinion the window should at least preselect the current user, esp. if he is an admin, since chances are very small you would want to use someone else's credentials. That said, there seems to be no way to remember authorisations for the cpu frequency scaling applet anymore (not sure if there used to be a way for this). [Bug 147560] Re: Kernel detects battery management wrong (MSI PR200 / System76)
I can confirm that after an upgrade from Hardy to Intrepid just a few days ago the battery behaviour got worse. I am now on 2.6.27-7-generic SMP x86_64. The battery and AC status seem to be detected correctly during boot, but after that the charge applet displays: Battery state could not be read at this time, and also detects the AC state wrong. This is on an MSI S271 (1058) with BIOS version 1.21. When booting the supplied Windows XP, battery status works perfectly. -- Kernel detects battery management wrong (MSI PR200 / System76) https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/147560 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 252200] [NEW] ssh-agent does not expire key
Public bug reported: When I add an SSH key to ssh-agent the lifetime (-t) parameter seems to be ignored: $ ssh-add -t 1 /home/pieter/.ssh/id_work $ ssh-add -l 1024 76:a9:b1:c4:af:ef:b5:b9:6e:39:05:91:c9:a2:b7:89 (DSA) $ ssh [work] --OK Now I wait, and after 1 second, 1 minute, 1 hour I can still login. However, deleting the key manually: $ ssh-add -D All identities removed. does expire the key correctly: $ ssh [work] Permission denied (publickey). This is risky when you lose a laptop, since the thief has infinite time to login to your hosts. The key should expire after the set expiry time... [Bug 134962] rt2500: network-manager fails to join wireless networks
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: network-manager Network manager is unable to join wireless networks except some unencrypted ones on my rt2500 chipset. This is on Gutsy (2.6.22-10-generic).
