[Bug 2063989] Re: NEUTRON's OVS based VXLAN seems to be unable to access the network
This don't looks like Neutron bug really and more like some misconfiguration or something like that. If You can't reach metadata service from Your instance, please check if haproxy service for metadata was spawned in the router namespace. You need also to check e.g. with tcpdump where your connection is stopped. That may give you some clue what and where is wrong. I am closing this as not a bug in Neutron and recommend You to go the the openstack-disc...@lists.openstack.org mailing list to get support there. ** Changed in: neutron Status: New => Invalid -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/2063989 Title: NEUTRON's OVS based VXLAN seems to be unable to access the network To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/neutron/+bug/2063989/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

This is a bit strange as we do run Ussuri scenario jobs with L3-HA, see e.g. https://zuul.opendev.org/t/openstack/build/508a4cc49b0844978d107b74ed18982d/logs and it works fine. Hi James. I don't think that Neutron should load this module. We are not managing any modules in Neutron AFAICT. It is on deployment tools/distro to ensure that proper modules are loaded. [Bug 1789045] [NEW] keepalived 1:1.2.24-1ubuntu0.16.04.1 breaks Neutron stable branches
Public bug reported: It looks that keepalived 1:1.2.24-1ubuntu0.16.04.1 which is available in Xenial repositories breaks CI functional tests in OpenStack Neutron in stable/queens, stable/pike and stable/ocata branches. See bug https://bugs.launchpad.net/neutron/+bug/1788185 for details. In master and stable/rocky branch we are using cloud-archive apt repo which already have keepalived in newer version 1:1.3.9-1ubuntu0.18.04.1~cloud0 and this works fine. Some details about issue: It looks for me that keepalived in broken version clears all IP addresses configured on qr- interface in router's namespace and that cause failures of tests but it also may (probably) cause to some real issue in production when Neutron with HA routers is used. ** Affects: keepalived (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1789045 Title: keepalived 1:1.2.24-1ubuntu0.16.04.1 breaks Neutron stable branches To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/keepalived/+bug/1789045/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
