[Bug 1188425] Re: Audio breaks up and pulseaudio eventually crashes with Alsa a52 (ac3) plugin (Ubuntu 13.04)
Artur Agostinho Araújo : Did you ever find a solution? In 14.04, with the fragment sizes you suggest this is better, but still crashes periodically. This plugin is amazing! Especially if I could control how many channels were upsampled on a per application basis (ie 2.0 -> 2.1, not 2.0 -> 5.1) Banshee in particular crashes PA with a52. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1188425 Title: Audio breaks up and pulseaudio eventually crashes with Alsa a52 (ac3) plugin (Ubuntu 13.04) To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/pulseaudio/+bug/1188425/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

revision 12 from sid is still crashing with: Qt has caught an exception thrown from an event handler. Throwing exceptions from an event handler is not supported in Qt.
