Well no, I fixed it long ago by reinstalling the system and everything went semi-fine from thereon. [Bug 68354] Re: Vista breaks Ubuntu
Sadly, I am unable to do this because I have XP reinstalled to override Vista's boot loader. And I really don't want to have to go through the process of installing Vista (yuck) or changing my mobo (somehow this makes Vista's boot loader appear from the depths of nowhere and override XP's one). -- Vista breaks Ubuntu https://launchpad.net/bugs/68354 -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 68354] Vista breaks Ubuntu
Public bug reported: When Vista is installed (or was installed, only is boot loader "required" for bug to appear) anywhere on any of the HDDs any Ubuntu install (including Kubuntu, Edubuntu and so on) will fail on "Mounting filesystem" stage. This does not happen with LiveCD or when XP was installed after Vista overriding Vista's boot loader. ** Affects: Ubuntu Importance: Undecided Status: Unconfirmed -- Vista breaks Ubuntu https://launchpad.net/bugs/68354 -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
