[Bug 1923845] Re: Please compress packages with zstd by default
FYI I added initial support for Lutris here (https://github.com/lutris/lutris/pull/4021). However this is really only cosmetics, it won't work until an stdlib zstd module is available in Python (see https://mail.python.org/archives/list/python-id...@python.org/thread/VQIFA7WTNRAOYZGTVP4WZC2CD36KYIVY/#RMMZFYPKHDJHGSHCKHRKRDGKPZSCUHT2). -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1923845 Title: Please compress packages with zstd by default To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/appstream-glib/+bug/1923845/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 1883253] Re: no Multi-Arch support
> What's the issue exactly you are refering to? The lack of Multi-Arch informations? No I was talking about the things you fixed in 1.5.1-0ubuntu6, thanks btw! But Multi-Arch information is required as well ofc, but that's also already fixed. Should be go to now from what I see. > I did an update to G with some of the Debian changes, we should go back in sync later but best to work on a minimal diff to be able to do a stable update with the changes. I think it's fine for now, but once https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/libinih/+bug/1883890 is fixed I think it makes sense to sync with Debian again. If there are any issues with the package (or possible improvements), feel free to open an issue / PR on the Salsa repo, I will try to comply to reduce duplicate efforts. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1883253 Title: no Multi-Arch support To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gamemode/+bug/1883253/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 1883253] Re: no Multi-Arch support
Yes, I'm asking for 32 bit builds, since that is required to inject gamemode to a 32 bit game. Here are some Bug reports: https://github.com/FeralInteractive/gamemode/issues/254 https://github.com/lutris/lutris/issues/2917 https://github.com/FeralInteractive/gamemode/issues/216 https://github.com/FeralInteractive/gamemode/issues/252 But it's not enough to enable the current build files on 32 bit since that will fail. The problematic files are debian/libgamemode0.install and debian/libgamemodeauto0.install There are two easy solutions for that problem: 1) Import the Debian package, it has full Multi-Arch support by now. This requires to put libinih1 into main though. 2) Rebase debian/patch/revert_libinih_depends.patch against the code on Salsa (https://salsa.debian.org/games-team/gamemode) ** Bug watch added: github.com/FeralInteractive/gamemode/issues #254 https://github.com/FeralInteractive/gamemode/issues/254 ** Bug watch added: github.com/lutris/lutris/issues #2917 https://github.com/lutris/lutris/issues/2917 ** Bug watch added: github.com/FeralInteractive/gamemode/issues #216 https://github.com/FeralInteractive/gamemode/issues/216 ** Bug watch added: github.com/FeralInteractive/gamemode/issues #252 https://github.com/FeralInteractive/gamemode/issues/252 -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1883253 Title: no Multi-Arch support To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gamemode/+bug/1883253/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 1875740] Re: gamemode throttles (AMD?) CPUs on exit (powersave governor)
The PR was merged in upstream, I backported the fix to gamemode 1.5.1-3, which landed in Debian on Monday. @seb128 you may want to drop or rebase the changes in the Ubuntu package. If everything goes right 1.5.1-4 should come around soon as well, so you might as well just wait for that. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1875740 Title: gamemode throttles (AMD?) [Bug 1869285] Re: Piper won't install
Debian Maintainer for Piper here. I think I know the cause of this problem, and it is not a problem of the package itself. > InstallationDate: Installed on 2019-04-02 (359 days ago) > InstallationMedia: Kubuntu 19.04 "Disco Dingo" - Alpha amd64 (20190326.1) This strongly indicates that you used the PPA before, because Piper is only available in Debian since November. Please uninstall Piper, remove the PPA (which isn't maintained anymore btw), and install it again. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1869285 Title: Piper won't install To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/piper/+bug/1869285/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
