[Bug 1736116] Re: [SRU] Host with kernel 4.13 freezes when starting a VM with VirtualBox

[Bug 1270257] Re: NetworkManager failed to function after suspend and resume
Reconnecting wifi worked fine here until the system upgrade to 15.04 (vivid). Since then, after suspend and resume wifi does not work almost always. [Bug 1295909] Re: Unity spread trigger ruins windows and freezes desktop
I've had problems with window spread before, too, but only on a laptop with Nvidia graphics. On another one with Intel graphics, it works flawlessly. Anyways, after upgrading to vivid, I tried to enable window spread using unity-tweak-tool again, and I got that freeze plus (after a while) crash again. But this time, it was so bad that I could not even log in any more. Afer entering my password, and after a second or so, I was always presented with a completely white (or light gray) screen, and after a mouse click, there was the login screen again. A reboot did not help, either. So after removing some config files in my home directory also did not help, I removed all nvidia-* packages. Now I could log in again, and finally I had a chance to switch window spread off again! (By the way, it still crashes.) I also got many apport crash popups after being able to login again (Xorg, compiz, apport). I guess I was hit by multiple bugs at once. [Bug 879838] Re: Keyboard Layout Germany Neo 2: Mod4 does not work if used as secondary keyboard layout
This bug annoys me, too, and I've seen it in Oneiric (11.10) and Precise (12.04). I guess it is present in Quantal and Raring, too. I have configured “German Neo 2” and “German eliminate dead keys” layouts, and whatever I choose as the secondary layout does not work correctly. Only the primary layout works as expected. If Neo is the secondary layout, both Mod4 keys are completely ignored, so instead of layer 4 and 6 I get layer 1 and 3, respectively. (See http ://neo-layout.org/ for details.) If “Qwertz” is the secondary layout, I can't type “”, “” and “|”, because the left one of the two Neo-Mod4-keys is dead. This makes working on the command line rather impossible. My workaround is to select Neo as the primary layout, and if someone else (unfamiliar with Neo) needs to type on my keyboard, I have to change the primary layout. ** Tags added: quantal raring ** Tags added: running-unity -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/879838 Title: Keyboard Layout Germany Neo 2: Mod4 does not work if used as secondary keyboard layout To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xkeyboard-config/+bug/879838/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

Public bug reported: The German translation in the integrated help in bash is broken: $ LANG=de_DE.UTF-8 help pwd pwd: pwd [-LP] be a literal `]', to match the opening `['. $ LANG=C help pwd pwd: pwd [-LP] Print the name of the current working directory. Options: -Lprint the value of $PWD if it names the current working directory -Pprint the physical directory, without any symbolic links By default, `pwd' behaves as if `-L' were specified. [Bug 960030] Re: USB device hangs on boot
I suggest to enter a new bug by running the command «ubuntu-bug linux», because this one is really invalid. The reason here were a lot of LVM snapshots which take a long time to set up.
