[Bug 1242094] Re: clementine without libgpod support
Is a fix for this scheduled? I am encountering the same problem using LUbuntu 13.10 with an ipod nano 7g. This is an iPod, but you compiled Clementine without libgpod support. If you continue, this device will work slowly and songs copied to it may not work. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1242094 Title: clementine without libgpod support To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/clementine/+bug/1242094/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

Yes I believe it was fixed after poppler .12.4. I compiled .13.3 and it worked fine. Hello, Is your ppa still active? [Bug 331681] Re: Error initializing camera: -60: Could not lock the device
I experienced this problem in Karmic. Now I am using Lucid Lynx and seem to be experiencing something similar. I get the same error messages: Unable to mount KODAK EasyShare CX7430 Zoom Digital Camera Error initializing camera: -60: Could not lock the device And this: Error Conecting to Camera Received error Could not lock the device while connecting to camera The difference is that I am now able to download the photos from my camera! This is great to see, but I would love to get these error messages cleaned up for when I show Lucid off to my judgemental Proprietary Operating System owning friends. :-) I know that this is relatively low priority, but any help would be much appreciated. -- Error initializing camera: -60: Could not lock the device https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/331681 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 382998] Re: Videos will not play anymore
This bug no longer happens. A simple reinstall did not fix it. I needed to remove-purge both gnash and the flashplugin-nonfree, then reinstalled the flashplugin-nonfree only. That fixed the problem. I would prefer to use free software, but in this case the non-free flash plugin seems to have much better performance. I thought that it might have been down because a computer running XP could not access it for a while, but now it can.I was taking a linux tutorial on linux.org when this happened and it told me I could use the command: top to check which applications were taking up the most system resources. I notice that firefox was taking up about 20% of my memory and quite a bit of system resources(so my fan on the laptop was almost constantly running). So I got cute and installed elinks so I could use it for basic things like read linux tutorials so I can learn this stuff without asking too many questions on these forums. linux.org stopped working in elinks first(along with yahoo mail- error or something). I then tried firefox and yahoo AND linux.org did not work. [Bug 383376] Re: Videos will not play anymore
Hello, I followed the link you gave me. From the Terminal I typed: firefox -ProfileManager like it told me to do so I could start another profile and try the default settings. This did not work. It just opened the firefox browser as if I just typed: firefox I also tried typing: firefox -Profilemanager firefox -profilemanager firefox -P None of these opened up a Profile manager. No Videos or audios work in my firefox browser except Youtubebut they are extremely slow and poor performance. This seems to have happened after I installed from the Konsole libxine1-mpeg for my Amarock. Is this possible that it would affect firefox? It is the only thing that I can think of that I did that might have something to do with the problem. I did not install the flash plugin installer from the terminal.
