[Bug 1054776] Re: Don't include remote searches in the home lens
This is extremely serious. I haven't been able to recommend Ubuntu 12.10 to new users because of the privacy implications of this feature. My ideal solution: 1. Prompt the user when installing whether or not they would like to install amazon's search feature. 2. Prompt whether or not they would like the feature to be installed as a dedicated shopping lens. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1054776 Title: Don't include remote searches in the home lens To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/unity-lens-shopping/+bug/1054776/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 280571] Re: NetworkManager does not auto-connect to VPNs marked Connect Automatically
This really shouldn't be downgraded to wishlist. Auto-connecting to a VPN is a standard and I dare-say critical feature for many VPN users. If upstream isn't willing to fix the issue, then the community should take it up. I mean...my god, this bug has been around since the Hardy area. That's 9 release cycles ago. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/280571 Title: NetworkManager does not auto-connect to VPNs marked Connect Automatically To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/network-manager/+bug/280571/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 661292] Re: Nautilus is not aware of published files
Confirming on Ubuntu 12.04 precise! 3.0.0-0ubuntu1 Ubuntu One Client 1:3.4.1-0ubuntu1 nautilus At first nautilus detects that the files are published and offers to let me copy the link, but later one (perhaps after a reboot?) it looses track! Checking at one.ubuntu.com shows the files are still published, even though nautilus doesn't detect so. (They all seem unpublished!)
