[Bug 995189] Re: Ejecting network drive causes nautilus to close

2012-06-26 Thread Sutram
It took me a while to get back to my ubuntu computer.

Anyway, there is no error when I start nautilus from the command line.
It just closes. This actually happens even if the drive is a USB drive.
Pressing the eject button for the USB drive completely closes nautilus.
I would expect just the drive to be unmounted and the drive icon to go
away.

Thanks.

[Bug 995189] [NEW] Ejecting network drive causes nautilus to close

2012-05-05 Thread Sutram
Public bug reported:

This is with amd64 12.04 with the latest updates.

I have a windows file share that I can mount using nautilus. It shows up
properly on the left bar. If I click the eject icon next to the mounted
drive, nautilus ejects the drive and then closes without any error.

I looked at the nautilus icon on the unity launchbar and realized that
nautilus just doesn't close that window but the entire application.

I consider this a bug. It should simply eject the drive without closing
the nautilus window and the nautilus application.

[Bug 872054] [NEW] Oneric 32 bit Intel: Cannot shutdown/restart with multiple users logged in

2011-10-10 Thread Sutram
Public bug reported:

This is Oneric 32 bit Intel fully updated on a Dell Vostro 3400 laptop.

I cannot shutdown/restart from the gear icon on the top right corner if
there are multiple users logged in. It simply logs me out and takes me
to the lightdm login screen.

I remember that it used to warn that other users are logged in through a
dialog box but would allow me to shutdown/restart anyway if I entered my
password.

[Bug 46613] Re: Always prints A4 paper

2006-10-13 Thread Sutram
I have the same problem. Mine is a HP LaserJet 4200n and I am using the
JetDirect protocol.

I tried printing the test page once the printer was configured and
setting it to letter does not make a difference. It always tries to
print A4.
