[Bug 41301] Re: Mouse clicks stop working sporadically
This just happened to me too. I'm running a clean install of Ubuntu 12.10 on a brand new Lenovo W530. I was able to move the pointer but not click. xev also showed no output from the mouse, not even movement. I'm running kde and the problems started when i was listening top spotify. The installation is new (a few days, as the laptop is new) but it didn't happen until i was playing music. I tried switching to console (ctrl-alt-f1) and then the music stopped until i logged in to the console, then the music was playing again. Switched back to X and the mouse was still not responding (other then movement). But when i killed Spotify (with kill from a termial) the mouse started working again. My solution was to terminate the music source, if that helps anyone... -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to the bug report. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/41301 Title: Mouse clicks stop working sporadically To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/41301/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
Re: [Bug 131679] Re: compiz.real crashed with SIGSEGV when attempting to unlock screen
Not sure, This but is a result from suspending to ram, and then waking it up, but I guess I could try, what options do you want from valgrind? i've only used it for memleaks and a callgraph :P /Sven Travis Watkins wrote: Forgot to mention, if you are still having this problem, can you produce it while running compiz under valgrind and attach the log? -- compiz.real crashed with SIGSEGV when attempting to unlock screen https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/131679 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
