Public bug reported:
I wanted to install Ubuntu 11.10 from a disc to an older notebook
(Fujitsu Siemens Amilo L7310W), but the installer just stopped in the
middle of the installation, and it said that the installation collapsed.
I tried to use an older, unsupported version of Ubuntu because this
notebook using an old, special gpu (S3 Graphics) and newer Ubuntu
versions might not support this gpu.
