[Bug 1724876] Re: libreoffice soffice.bin using 100% cpu

2019-03-22 Thread TLRobb
I have noted the same symptoms for months; i.e. 100% usage of one cpu core with
any document opened in LibreOffice for an extended period. Simple 10kB text
file in Writer or large spreadsheet in Calc.
Ubuntu 18.04.2 LTS, LibreOffice 6.0.7.3 00m0(Build:3). This behavour has not
improved with any main line updates from Ubuntu.

[Bug 435550] Re: scrollwheel should scroll not browse

2016-08-12 Thread TLRobb
Really, how hard can it be to change this default behavior to an option
and save us all from this annoying inconsistency. After 7 years?

[Bug 1572876] Re: After Samba upgrade can't access unpassworded windows share

2016-04-27 Thread TLRobb
Thank you, Greg.
This suggestion " smb://guest@..." works fine for printing to a Win7 share
from another Xubuntu install which I did not downgrade. That is, an
installation updated to samba 4.3.8.
