[Bug 1880667] Re: package codeblocks-dev 20.03-3 failed to install/upgrade: trying to overwrite '/usr/include/codeblocks/Alignment.h', which is also in package codeblocks-headers 20.03

2020-05-26 Thread Teodor Petrov
Using packages meant for debian won't work I suppose. Unfortuantely the
packages for 20.04 failed to build on launchpad, so I have to find the
time what have changed there. :( Until then building packages from
source is probably the only option.

[Bug 1873919] Re: Scrolling in text editor is very slow and laggy on ppc64le

2020-04-20 Thread Teodor Petrov
What is the scrolling performance in scite, geany or the stc sample in
wxWidgets?
Make a flamegraph using perf? http://www.brendangregg.com/flamegraphs.html
Is the cpu you're testing on comparable to the amd64 ones in (single threaded)
performance?

Why are you trying to install codeblocks 16.01 when you have 17.12

[Bug 1710424] [NEW] Apply some patches to codeblocks to make it less crash

2017-08-12 Thread Teodor Petrov
Public bug reported:

Hello, I'm one of the developers of codeblocks.

I've pushed some fixes to the release-16.xx patch that affect distributions
building codeblocks against wx3.x.
The revisions in question are 11140 to 11144
You can find the commit log here
https://sourceforge.net/p/codeblocks/code/11144/log/

These fix two common problems, which are pretty bad:
https://sourceforge.net/p/codeblocks/tickets/225/ (more of a workaround for now)
https://sourceforge.net/p/codeblocks/tickets/524/

I'll be happy if you can apply them to the 16.01 packages.

Best regards,
Teodor

** Affects: codeblocks (Ubuntu)
 Importance: Undecided
 Status: New
