[Bug 622051] Re: Cannot change Artist Sort error, Rythmbox reports Internal GStreamer error

2011-01-25 Thread Terry Hamel
I get this error too, so I logged the problem with:

GST_DEBUG=*:5 rhythmbox 2dbg.log

Per the instructions @ https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=627678

After executing/closing multiple song properties, RB will stall - or at least
the GUI will become unresponsive, occasionally resulting in this error. I
noticed it is more likely to trigger if RB is playing audio and the status
graphic is animating.

RB v0.13.1

gst-inspect-0.10 fakesink | grep Version

gst-inspect-0.10 playbin2 | grep Version
  Version:0.10.30
gst-inspect-0.10 autoaudiosink | grep Version
  Version:0.10.25

The compressed log is 201mb. Can this bug tracking system accept that
attachment size?

[Bug 707110] [NEW] UI became unresponsive

2011-01-24 Thread Terry Hamel
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: rhythmbox

Upon selecting multiple items in browser, properties, change genre, and
close, UI stopped responding, but audio still played. After waiting 1
minute, found it could not respond in audio indicator applet either. I
went to terminal and killed process.

This problem has occurred in the past, but I do not know what triggers
it. Most times, editing multiple audio items works fine, but
occasionally it fails and does this.

[Bug 704468] [NEW] rhythmbox-metadata process sometimes freezes

2011-01-18 Thread Terry Hamel
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: rhythmbox

Selecting multiple mp3 entries to edit metadata properties sometimes
causes rhythmbox to becomes unresponsive (grays out), yet audio still
plays. Found killing rhythmbox-metadata returns control. CPU on
rhythmbox-metadata is minimal during the freeze. Not sure what causes
it, as it can fail on one pass, yet succeed the same steps directly
afterward.

After kill rhythmbox-metadata, get Error with GStreamer, could not save
metadata error dialogue box. Expected, but GStreamer responsible?
