[Bug 994960] Re: "Could not connect to server" displayed when the HTTP_PROXY environment variable is set

2016-07-31 Thread Christian Thal
Moin,

also der Bug exestiert schon länger...
Ich habe einmal die ZIP-Datei angehängt, dort ist in einer Datei die
Verbesserung erhalten, bloß wie lädt man eigentlich solche Verbesserung auf den
Server?

[Bug 1041234] Re: Upgrade of resolvconf from 1.63ubuntu* to 1.63ubuntu15 fails: start: Job failed to start

2012-08-29 Thread Thal
Moment, maybe not the directory is missing, on my system the directory
is there but the file is missing

uname -a
# Linux mose 3.2.0-26-generic #41-Ubuntu SMP Thu Jun 14 17:49:24 UTC 2012
x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux

status resolvconf
# resolvconf start/running

cat /var/log/upstart/resolvconf
# cat: /var/log/upstart/resolvconf: No such file or directory

ls -lad /var/log/upstart
# drwxr-xr-x 2 root root 4096 Aug 29 14:39 /var/log/upstart/

# Fixed with:
touch /var/log/upstart/resolvconf
rm /var/log/upstart/resolvconf
# adding line with dns-nameservers values at static iface in
/etc/network/interfaces
/etc/init.d/networking restart
apt-get upgrade

Sorry guys don't know what of these two step really fixed it - was not
able to reproduce it - and it's too hot in here to do more thinking ...

Well, this is a linux system - I'm not willing to handle it as a Windows system!
Maybe a gnome2 problem - will check next time this issue occurs
