Explicitly installing light-locker will remove xscreensaver from the list. xubuntu-desktop depends on lightdm-gtk-greeter, and yet while performing the test case apt wants to pull in unity-greeter instead (see `apt depends lightdm`). This will install various indicator- packages plus gnome-control-center.
